The story of the Owen submachine gun and the life of its inventor Evelyn
Owen. He was born in Wollongong, the gun was made eventually at Lysaghts in Port
Kembla. Sadly, Evelyn died a recluse at the bottom of Macquarie Pass. The
playwright Michael Smart still lives at Barrack Point.
